I went to Modified Monkey to buy new jewellery for my nose piercing after my old jewellery had fallen out. Dwane was incredibly helpful and very professional. The piercing site had shrunk a bit and Dwane was able to fit my new jewellry with minimal discomfort. All in all, it was a great experience and by far one of the best experiences I've had with a body piercer. I'll definitely be going back. (Also, all of their jewellery is made from titanium and is very affordable in comparison to their competitors.)

Dwayne from Modified Monkey recently pierced my daughter’s conch and it really was the most fantastic experience! She wasn’t sure what she wanted and was very nervous and Dwayne reassured her at every turn and talked her through exactly what piercings he would recommend and why. He is so knowledgeable and professional, seriously one of the best we have ever been to. When it came time for the piercing, he kept her calm with his dad jokes 😂 and he was the ultimate pro! She was still waiting for the prick when he told her it was over! His jewellery is stunning, his studio is a chilled vibe, his expertise was awesome, and it was just a super cool experience all round! 100 percent will be coming back!
I got my belly peirced by Dwane a couple days ago, and I highly recommend going to him for your next peircing. He's extremely friendly and I was very nervous as I have a fear of needles and he made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. I've never had such a wonderful experience with peircers, he made sure to take his time and make sure everything was done properly. He spend time measuring which I really appreciate and the process was completely painless. Even now, the peircing barely hurts and there's no swelling at all. Dwane is extremely professional and he was making jokes the whole time to ease my fear. I will 100% be going to him again for any future peircings

Its rare that I find a studio where advanced piercings are available in Gauteng. So I did my research and I found a reputable piercing studio (Modified Monkey) I made a booking for nipple piercings and a VCH piercing on their website. I then recieved an immediate response when I messeged on Whatsapp. Upon confirming Dwane sent a file informaing me how to come prepared for my appointment. At each step I felt safe and in good hands. When I arrived at the studio, Alex opened up (Thank you, Alex). All the staff are proffesional, friendly and always willing to answer any questions you may have. Now This is important! The environment of the studio is clean and sterile. I felt comfortable and safe as much as I was excited to get my piercings. Dwane is great! He knows what he doing. He checked my anatomy properly before going ahead with the piercings. He also made sure to have jewelry options ready that fit my style. I felt calm throughout and before I knew it the piercings were done. Dwane then gave aftercare instructions before I proceeded with payment. Best day ever! I left Modified Monkey feeling great and now my piercings are healing up well. Thank You, Dwane and team.

I went to get my helix done for my sweet 16th, I was assisted by Dwane. He was very cheerful and helped ease my anxiety with his jokes. There was hardly any pain and very little blood. So far it has countine to be basically painless. It was an overall very good experience!!

I'd highly recommend Montanna! I went with a specific plan, but Montanna spoke to me about different options that would suit me, and I went ahead with a conch piercing. She's very knowledgeable and her enthusiasm for her craft is uplifting. My piercing is healing really well, absolutely no issues.
