I recently visited Dwane at Modified Monkey to get my 2nd and 3rd lobes done—four piercings in one sitting! I really appreciated that he spent a lot of time measuring everything out first, making sure the placement was perfect and that I was 100% happy with the dots before we started. The best part? It was practically painless. Dwane has such a gentle hand that I barely felt the needle at all. You can tell he really cares about quality, using proper titanium jewelry which has given me huge peace of mind. The studio is clean, professional, and Dwane made me feel completely comfortable from start to finish. Highly recommend!

I had my nostril piercing done by Dwane about five weeks ago, and the experience was fantastic. Dwane and his assistant are absolutely amazing - he answered all my (many!) questions and made me feel completely at ease. The actual piercing was quick and far less painful than I expected - after it was done, I barely felt anything. I had very minimal redness or swelling afterwards, and most of the sensitivity was gone within a week. I was incredibly happy with the placement, the jewellery, and how it looked immediately. I had my flat helix piercing done here with Dwayne and honestly, it was the most pleasant experience ever! I am absolutely terrified of needles and have a very low pain threshold, but Dwayne completely changed my perception of the whole process. He took his time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. The environment was spotless,cool and professional — you could tell hygiene and safety are top priorities. What stood out most was how gentle and reassuring he was; I barely felt the piercing at all and left wondering why I’d been so nervous in the first place! If you’re anxious about getting pierced or it’s your first time, I can’t recommend this place enough. The experience was smooth, positive, and even enjoyable. Dwane has been doing all my piercings since 2019 and he has been nothing, but exceptional for all of them. Would highly recommend him for any of your piercings and for anyone who is a little nervous for some of your piercings like I was.

What a pleasant experience. I highly recommend dwane. He made me feel so safe and comfortable with my piercing experience. The studio is in a shopping centre so your car is safe. The studio itself is neat and sterile. All the tools and needles are sealed in separate packages. And the piercers even recommend numbing. So there is no pain shaming at all. Highly recommend! 🌟

Really nice piercing place, the people are really nice. They talk you through the whole process and make sure you know what will happen and how they will do it. They also check if you can get the piercing and tell you how to clean it and look after it. Wonderful place, I would definitely come again.
