I cannot recommend Dwane enough. He puts you right at ease the moment you walk through the door and he takes his time to answer all your questions and to go through the possibilities of piercings you'd like to have done with their pros and cons. He was meticulous with his piercing placement in spite of the fact that one of my ears is challenging due to its structure. I am normally a poor healer, but so far after a week of Dwane's recommended aftercare I am not having any issues and healing is progressing very well. For anyone looking to know, his piercing jewellery is titanium so the risk of allergy is slim to none and he does all his piercings with needles. This was so important for me as someone who has had poor experiences beforehand with gun piercings and reactive jewellery. If you're looking to get a new piercing, look no further than Dwane at Modified Monkey. You absolutely won't regret it.

I recently got 4 new piercings done at Modified Monkey (along with my 4 lobe piercings from a few years ago) and as always, the service and care was amazing. I decided to take a friend with for the BFF special (Fridays) and we both had a great experience. Dwane is an absolute master with piercings. I had no pain with the conch and rook thanks to his expert care - and minimal pain with the double helix (about 5/10 for the first one and 3/10 for the second). I've had no issues with swelling or infection. The studio does have a problem with bugs at the moment but they are actively working on it so I won't count it as too much of an issue. The space is overall clean and all the equipment sanitary. Thanks again for the great experience!
